The rocketbar needs to be a part of the status bar. From the spec: 

The left side of the Rocket bar displays the title of the current app (hosted or packaged) or web page. If the web page defines an app title using a meta tag, this title name should be displayed.

A fixed minimum amount of space (tbd) should be reserved on the Rocket bar to display the title. If more space is available above the minimum amount (i.e., the space is not being used by status icons), it should be used. If the title does not fit within the available space, it should be truncated with an ellipsis.

I'm going to close this one for now and track this in bug 941176. The work here to display the title is mostly done, but we may need to open future bugs for transitions and things.
